Blur: To the End by Toby L.

Blur: To the End follows the return of British band Blur in 2023, after an eight-year absence, with the recording of their new album The Ballad of Darren. The documentary looks back over the year in which the album was created, with a reunion, reflections on their future and preparations for a tour. Four friends — Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James and Dave Rowntree — come together to develop a new sound and dynamic, before culminating with a moving concert at Wembley Stadium. It’s an authentic return to the stage that’s far from being nostalgic, yet remains faithful to their identity.
 
Music video and documentary filmmaker Toby L.’s approach here is simple and sincere. His previous films include Liam Gallagher — Knebworth 22 (2022) and Rip Up the Road (2019).
