During the renovation of Studio and Salle M, Bozar collaborates with the temporary cultural hub Reset to present a sequence of 10 concerts of electronic music. These sensory spectacles unfold within the intimate ambiance of Reset’s Auditorium, reminiscent of 70s Scandinavian style architecture. Each time, an international artist shares the bill with a local must see.
20:00 ? 21:00 | Roméo Poirier & Ohme
With Tales of Entropy, Roméo Poirier & Ohme invite you to experience an unusual sensory adventure that merges science, visual art, and generative music. Using a polarizing light microscope and an ultra-high-resolution camera, Nicolas Klimis and François Bronchart (Ohme) film and project live on stage thermal transformations of organic materials: when heated, they transition from liquid to crystalline, revealing captivating colorful patterns. Poirier then synchronizes these visuals with a generative soundtrack, translating textures and colors into musical impulses. Immerse yourself in a performance where a scientific experience transforms into an unprecedented artistic journey.
21:30 ? 22:30 | Alessandro Cortini
Renowned for his exploration of modular synthesizers, Alessandro Cortini is also known as the keyboardist, guitarist, and bassist of the American industrial band Nine Inch Nails. Beyond his performances as a musician, Cortini is also an instrument creator, having developed innovative analog synthesizers like the Strega. Influenced by his Italian roots and passion for sonic experimentation, his solo projects and collaborations with artists like Daniel Avery immerse listeners in intense and evocative soundscapes. At Bozar x Reset #4, Cortini presents his latest album NATI INFINITI, a 40-minute work in five movements inspired by an immersive sound installation he created for Sónar Lisboa 2022. Don’t miss this immersive evening with a pioneer of contemporary electronic music.
