During the renovation of Studio and Salle M, Bozar collaborates with the temporary cultural hub Reset to present a sequence of 10 concerts of electronic music. CHVE is the incantatory solo project of Colin H. van Eeckhout, frontman of Belgian post-metal band Amenra. Armed with nothing more than a hurdy-gurdy, his raw voice and some effects, Van Eeckhout creates a transformative experience: with a dark soundscape, he probes into the depths. American sound artist claire rousay draws her inspiration from personal experiences and everyday sounds. With extreme delicacy, she fuses field recordings, voicemails and barely audible conversations into a poetic, highly emotionally charged whole. She collaborated with artists such as Mabe Fratti, Patrick Shiroishi and could be heard on Martyna Basta’s Slowly Forgetting, Barely Remembering (2023) - the beginning of a dream collaboration. Basta also brings highly personal and expressive music: guitar fragments float around in dreamlike soundscapes and voices pop up like distant memories. claire rousay and Basta present their brand new album Hotel Room (February 2025) at Reset. Theresa Baumgartner, who evokes alternative realities like no other, is in charge of visuals.
