As part of the temporary Draw me a train” exhibition, Train World is offering a series of creative workshops to teach visitors how to paint trains and their world in watercolour.

► 16 March : Drawing tour of Train World
Equipped with a sketchbook and a box of watercolours, come and see the Train World museum in a unique way, sketching out some on-the-spot” drawings. You’ll learn how to sketch locomotives, capture details and portray a mood with just a few brushstrokes. And you’ll leave with a notebook full of instant, personal memories.

► 22 & 30 March : Introduction to watercolours
Have you always dreamed of taking up watercolour painting? Train World is offering an introductory workshop to this technique in the exceptional setting of the Salle des Pas Perdus. No basics required, you’ll learn to master water and colours, create a gradient and give depth to your drawing. This workshop is for all ages.

Where ? The old Schaerbeek station, Train World, Place Princess Elisabeth 5, 1030 Schaerbeek
Duration ? 3h
For whom ? 7 years and up. Suitable for all generations. Accessible to beginners and advanced alike. You can register for one, two or all three dates. The group is made up of a maximum of 20 people.
Prix ? €18 for adults/€13 for children aged 7 to 17 (workshop and museum visit included).
The course is bilingual (FR-NL) and accessible to English speakers.
