Bozar is delighted to welcome renowned Turkish writer and journalist Ece Temelkuran to Brussels for an in-depth conversation. The evening will revolve around Temelkuran’s forthcoming book, Nation of Strangers. Temelkuran, renowned for her earlier works such as How to Lose a Country: The 7 Steps From Democracy to Dictatorship, delves into the mechanisms of autocracy and the decline of democratic principles. In her novel The Time of Mute Swans, she takes a poignant look at the social and political turmoil in Turkey, while The Last Black Sea Apple is a profound and emotional story about loss and memory.
