The Wellington Museum is located in Waterloo. This museum tells the story of the famous Battle of Waterloo.
EXPO The Wellington Museum has the largest collection devoted to the 1815 campaign, in the heart of an inn that is over 300 years old. This legendary inn played host to the Duke of Wellington, commander of the Allied armies, who defeated Napoleon Bonaparte on 18 June 1815.
EXPO Horse: A Human History will reveal the essential impact of horses during the wars of the Revolution and the Empire. The exhibition will also highlight their significant role in agriculture, the economy and leisure.
BEHIND THE SCENES Go behind the scenes at the Museum and meet our curator, who will show you how he appraises and displays pieces from the collections and how inter-museum loans work.
