Anyone who witnessed Patricia Kopatchinskaya and Fazil Say playing together a few years ago, knows that the stage is buzzing with playing pleasure. The duo opens the evening with Szymanowski’s Myths, in which the Polish composer brings to life the characters Narcissus, Pan and the nymph Arethesa in three enchanting miniatures. The journey continues with Beethoven’s famous Kreutzersonate, a masterpiece for violin and piano. As icing on the cake, the two virtuosos also bring their own compositions to Brussels especially for this evening.
A talk with Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Fazil Say will take place between 8 and 8.30pm in the Henry Le Boeuf Hall. This encounter will be in English and moderated by Katherina Lindekens. Free admission.
