Tarek Atoui, Noé Soulier: Organon

  • Events

A gentle breeze sweeps through the Horta Hall. Tarek Atoui, a renowned artist and composer, explores the vibrations of matter through sound with both precision and freedom. His concerts and exhibition were highlights of the 2017 edition of the festival, where he was the featured guest. His sculptures, like instruments, invite intuitive interaction, where movement shapes sound, and sound guides movement.
Noé Soulier – who also made a lasting impression on the festival in 2022 – deconstructs choreography into invisible gestures, generating rapid and intricate movements that strike like a gust of wind.
Despite their different approaches, Tarek Atoui and Noé Soulier share a fascination with gesture and the invisible. Brought together by the festival, they push the boundaries of performance in this creation. Sound merges with choreography, the body with matter, the human with the non-human. The space becomes a forest of gestures, constantly shifting – as if carried by the same wind, circulating between bodies, sculptures, and us.
