Fondation Brel

Since its creation in 1981 in Brussels, the Foundation dedicated to the artist Jacques Brel has independently organized exhibitions, published works and welcomed the public. Driven by a spirit of transmission to the new generations, it gathers, indexes and digitizes a large number of archives related to the artist’s work and life. Thanks to the evolution of new technologies, the Fondation Brel team is now offering the public, in its completely renovated premises, a part of its archives, arranged, presented and staged in 3 spaces: Brel Chanteur, Brel Auteur and Ciné Brel.
