From Fante Bukowski to Maple Terrace: the career of Noah Van Sciver

Noah Van Sciver (born 1984) is a comic book artist from New Jersey. Thanks to the now cult Fante Bukowski series, he quickly grew from the new darling of the alternative scene to a leading figure in contemporary creation. A major producer, Noah Van Sciver has won several Ignatz Awards and was shortlisted for the Eisner Awards. In both fiction and autobiography, each new book shows his remarkable skill in creating spontaneous, earthy stories. Most of his books have been translated worldwide and published in French by L’employé du moi.

To mark the anniversary of the publisher L’employé du moi, we have the honour of hosting Noah Van Sciver at our Comic Book Museum for a master class.
