Les Egarés is more than just the 2023 album. It is a playground, a poetic haven, inhabited by four diverse musicians: Ballaké Sissoko (kora), Vincent Segal (cello), Vincent Peirani (accordion) and Émile Parisien (saxophone). Having played together in duos, they now form a super quartet. They do not perform jazz, nor chamber music or traditionals, but a mixture of all that. The simple and grandiose idea of listening to each other results in the birth of beautiful music with four mates. Each with their own background and a collective unanimity, they redraw the musical landscape. This is also how they broaden the sound field of the Kora Days at Bozar.
