Ovidie is a prolific author and director with a PhD in Literature and Film Studies. A prominent figure in the pro-sex feminist movement, she has worked in the adult film industry and enjoys exploring issues of intimacy, inspired by her own experiences. After her Porno Manifesto (2002), she authored numerous guides for the Osez collection. Ovidie also makes critically acclaimed dramas and documentaries for TV and radio (Là où les putains n’existent pas, Des gens bien ordinaires…).
Ovidie is a philosopher, sociologist and activist who enjoys exploring the nuances of sexual autonomy amidst societal norms.
