La Fonderie - Brussels Museum of Industry and Work

Situated in the heart of a once heavily industrialized area, formerly referred to as the Belgian Manchester, La Fonderie (the Foundry) is devoted to the history of labour and industry in the Brussels Region. Focusing on the human aspect, it adopts an original approach to industrial development in the form of temporary themed exhibitions that aim to link history, actuality and contemporary urban reality.
