Scientific and artistic exhibitions.

Established in 1979, the Espace Allende, named after the former Chilian President, is one of the principal exhibition rooms at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. Situated at the heart of the Solbosch Campus, it lands an important cultural place within the campus life and Brussels.

The artistic and scientific exhibitions are devoted to two missions. On one hand, they illustrate the university’s values by evoking social questions and beliefs through the craft of contemporary artists. On the other hand, they give insight into the university’s diversity of research centers through didactic exhibitions that promote intercultural dialogue.
