Seong-Jin Cho

Since his victory in the Chopin Concours in 2015, the Korean pianist Seong-Jin Cho has been winning the hearts of audiences and critics all around the world. Last season, he was an artist in residence at the Berliner Philharmoniker and recorded Ravel’s entire oeuvre for solo piano; this year, he will dazzle Bozar with two concerts. His recital combines Chopin’s brilliant 14 Waltzes with Bach’s elegant Partita no. 1, Schönberg’s pioneering Suite für Klavier and Schumann’s expressive Faschingsschwank aus Wien.
