Sometimes a name is enough to make opera-lovers’ hearts beat faster. Thomas Hampson, the world-famous American baritone – who has clocked up over 80 roles and 170 recordings – will be at La Monnaie this festive season. Besides creating the role of Bishop Edvard Vergérus in Fanny and Alexander, he will also be giving the young MM Academy singers a public masterclass. In the prestigious setting of our Grand Foyer, he will share his experience and vocal tips with MM Soloist Timothy Veryser (tenor) and MM Laureates Emma Posman (soprano), Lucas Cortoos (baritone) and Leander Carlier (baritone). The chance of a lifetime to witness this living legend at work!
