ULB - Louis Deroubaix Museum of Human anatomy and embryology

Situated on the faculty-hospital campus of Erasmus and mostly aimed at medicine students of ULB, this museum exhibits real anatomical preparations (‘plastined’ pieces as well), embryos and fetuses, either normal or presenting several congenital abnormalities. Pieces of compared and veterinary anatomy, anatomical models made of wax and plaster, as well as some pieces illustrating certain pathologies complete this unusual ensemble. The museum accomodates a multimedia room where different computer programs are free to use.
